  • JOYweavers Day Camp

    Camp Dates 7/8/24-8/9/24

JOYweavers Day Camp had an amazing first summer! Campers enjoyed our field trips, our activities onsite and our new “FIND YOUR FLOW”(FYF) programming. We can’t wait!

  • Seen & Heard

JOYweavers held our first school-year event. Campers and counselors enjoyed the beauty of an autumn day at Farrington Nature Linc. After pressing our own apple cider, we enjoyed a fall-themed Find Your Flow activity set- exploring the woods, making autumn lanterns, building with found nature objects, and spending time together. It was a great, great day!

  • The Foundry Festival

JOYweavers is excited to participate in the 2024 Foundry Festival. Free activities for children throughout the February vacation week. JOYweavers will be on site offering accessible craft activities February 17th and 19th.

AND come visit us at the camp fair Saturday March 2nd!

  • The Broader Context

Do you have questions about what is happeming for your child at school? In the fall JOYweavers will be staffed to provide resources and support. There is already free help to be found. By state law, every township has a Special Education Parents Advisory Council (SEPAC). They are eager to help think through IEP, 504, or school discipline questions. www.cambridgesepac.org or find them on facebook at SE-PAC Cambirdge Parent Advisory Council or www.somervillesepac.org. Also consider reaching out to the Federation for Children with Special Needs (www.fcsn.org). We are all stronger when we are in community!

“Please let the wonderful staff know that they have played such an important role in giving kids a great summer. They have helped kids see themselves in new ways: as friends, swimmers, artists, naturalists, canoe riders, and members of a community who understood and loved them.
